Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This policy explains what information Huda Quran Academy ("we", "us") collects when you use this website and our online classes, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain English. If anything is unclear, contact us using the details at the end.

1. Information we collect

Free trial form

When you fill in the free trial form, you give us the parent's or student's name, email address, WhatsApp number and country, time zone, the child's age, the course of interest, the preferred teacher and preferred class times. When you press submit, these details are saved in the academy's private admin system, which only our staff can access, so we can arrange your trial. WhatsApp then opens on your device with the same details written into a message to the academy's WhatsApp number (+92 333 740 9818). The WhatsApp message is only sent if you press send in WhatsApp. We also record which page you came from and campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source), so we know which pages and adverts bring enquiries.

Messages you send us

If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive the information you share, such as your name, number, email address and your message.

Students' learning information

For enrolled students we keep the information needed to teach: the student's name and age (provided by a parent for children), class schedule, attendance, lessons covered, test results and teachers' notes. We use this to plan lessons and prepare the monthly progress report.

Website analytics and cookies

We may use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked (such as "Book a Free Trial" or a PDF download). These tools use cookies and similar technologies and collect information such as your device type, browser, approximate location (country/city) and pages viewed. They do not give us your name. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers an opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics.

2. How we use information

  • To arrange your free trial and reply to your questions.
  • To schedule and teach classes, and to track and report a student's progress.
  • To send class reminders and the monthly progress report to parents on WhatsApp.
  • To manage fees and payments.
  • To improve our website and services, using analytics in an aggregated form.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use children's information for advertising.

3. Services we use

  • Zoom – to hold live online classes.
  • WhatsApp – for communication with parents and students, and to send monthly progress reports.
  • Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager – website statistics.
  • Google Drive – hosts some of the free PDF files linked on this site.

Each of these services processes information under its own privacy policy. Links on our Free Resources page go to third-party websites (for example archive.org or publishers' sites), which have their own privacy practices.

4. Children's information

Our classes are often for children. We ask that information about a child is provided by a parent or guardian, and we use it only to teach and to report progress to that parent or guardian. We encourage parents to stay present during online classes for young children. If you believe a child has given us information without a parent's knowledge, contact us and we will delete it.

5. How long we keep information

We keep trial enquiries for as long as needed to arrange the trial and follow up, and student records for as long as the student is enrolled and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you or your child, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also ask us to stop sending messages. If you live in the UK or the European Economic Area, you have rights under data protection law (UK GDPR / GDPR), including the right to complain to your data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK. If you live in the USA, parents may review and ask us to delete their child's information at any time.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to the teachers and staff who need it. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
